The IS skatepark in the Military Museum on Durban’s beachfront was more than just the central hub of DBN skateboarding to me – it was very close to my heart – a project I was instrumentally involved in, one that turned into our own TF and something that really helped the DBN scene progress. It played its role for a period of time, and then it’s time was up to make way for the next wave of progression. It’s in honour of that history and heritage that we took the GoDkateDay session to the grounds that the skatepark used to occupy – enjoy! ANDREW MORCK, DC Shoes Africa
