First off, I should tell you that half of the photos for this article were LOST yes, lost, vanished into corrupt land. When Clinton Theron (Element team manager and photographer) for the tour phoned and told me the good news 2 weeks after the tour I crapped my pants. All the effort, all the miles only to be shortchanged on our return. To say I was broken would be an understatement, raped more like it, not only for the article but for all the effort the team made while on this tour. So, what we have is “some” of the tour, a saving grace for all the effort made, money spent and miles driven over 2 weeks in December. On the 10th of Dec Siya Ntuli and I fl ew out of JHB to DBN to meet up with the rest of the team who were driving up from J Bay and 2 who were already in DBN, Thabo and Dallas. It was Siya’s fi rst time on a plane, he seemed psyched. After landing we took a cab to the Beach Park, our point of meeting the rest of the team. We spent the day skating and drinking a few beers in the afternoon, until fi nally after 6 Hours in the DBN sun the rest of the team arrived who would be taking us up to Indigo Skate Camp, our home for the next 4days.
