There are no better people to show you unfamiliar territory and all the spots it has to offer than the crew that have it as their stomping ground, and no better way to have / fi nd a party than by rolling with those who have tested the waters fi rst. So we came up with a vague plan, made some calls, and we were set. Impatience got the better of us and the tour began a night early, at the most frequented of all skate obstacles; the local bar.
The next day we had planned to meet up with the M2T crew at Skateworld in Edenvale. M2T were the resident core crew of Flystation Skatepark back in ’99 and were still going strong and their VALE PRIDE even stronger. Unsurprisingly, M2T stood us up, and to add insult to injury, they sent the rain. Edenvale is at its safest when it is raining so everyone relished in having the ‘Locals Only’ park to themselves and sessions in true ‘wet t-shirt contest’ style.
