Difficulty: Tip Toe.
To Begin: This is one of the fi rst tricks you can learn when starting skating. It’s normally, but not always, a little before a fl ip trick.
Set up: Roll up to whatever you are planning to do this down or over with your feet set up almost the same as an ollie. You might wanna put your front foot a little off the edge, like you would for a kickfl ip. A little to the left if you are regular, a little to the right if you are goofy.
Pop: Pop your tail pushing the front foot in the direction you want the nose to go and back foot in the direction you want your tail to go. As the board starts rotating adjust your feet back ready to catch the board whilst in mid air.
Catch: Catch your board with your front foot [or both simultaneously], keeping your weight centered over your board’s bolts and fl oat on down.
Land: Land on the board and ride away. Pop shuv-its done, now learn‘em frontside. |
