Difficulty: Gazelle Foot
To Begin: Learn Kickfl ips and regular 5-0’s. Flip five-0’s can be done either frontside or backside so make sure you learn them both so as to have them properly sussed.
Set up: Roll up to whatever you are planning to do this on, preferably a ledge, rail or hubba with your feet in the regular kickfl ip position. (Back foot in the ollie position, front foot slightly back and to the left for extra fl ippery fi nesse. Also make sure you approach whatever you are doing it on at a slight angle so you get above the grind and the obstacle.
Pop: Pop your tail fl icking that front foot out to the left letting the board fl ip over until the back foot catches the tail. (See Frame 4)
Grind: Land in the 5-0 position leaning slightly back so as to make sure you stay grinding. Ride the grind all the way to the end ready for the landing. This is the “good feeling” part.
Land: Centre your wait as you ride off the end so as to make sure you don’t fall on your ass leaning backwards, stand up and ride away. Now try them backside.
