Difficulty: Pheonix Foot

Foot To Begin: Learn heelflips and frontside shovits, the varial heel really is just a good combination of the two tricks thrown together all steazy. Set up: Roll straight up to whatever you are planning to do this on, preferably a ledge, stairs or a bus with your back foot in the frontside pop shuv position, (Like an ollie but your toes slighty on the inside of your tail if you are regular), and your front foot in the heelfl ip position (Foot halfway up the deck to the right if you are regular).
Pop: Pop the tail making sure you kick it in the direction of the front shuv and at the same time kick out the heels with the front foot making sure your board gets a nice quick flip to the catch. (Frame 8)
Hang time and Landing: Make sure that you have caught it and your feet and weight are nicely centred over your board, now simply land over your bolts and compress with the landing. Roll away stoked on the varial heels.
It’s a good trick to have in the bag and take down some hefty gaps.
