Difficulty: Feather foot

To Begin: I would suggest learning either nosegrinds or regular bluntslides before hitting these up. Siya got a chance to get them at LBG’s before they sadly closed her down, RIP LBG’s. Its kind of like doing overturned nosegrind but obviously slides rather than grinds so having regular blunts and those under your belt will definitely help here. If you have done regular blunts on mini ramps that should help a lot to especially when it comes to popping out.

Set up: Make sure the obsticle is waxed like hell it will definitely make this trick a lot easier to learn. Roll straight up to whatever you are planning to do it on either a ledge, railbar or curb to begin with. Make sure your front foot is just a little further forward than it would be for a regular ollie and your back foot is in the regular ollie position.

Pop and slide: Pop your tail making sure to turn your shoulders frontside while guiding the nose 900 into the noseblunt position. This is however where it can get a little tricky, you have to make sure you are leaning far enough back so you get a good slide but not to much so you slip out on your ass as well as not to far forward or you go over the handlebars, it’s gotta be just right. I would suggest going at it with a little more speed it will definitely help the slide and staying up.

Landing: Now dependent on wether you are coming straight off the obstacle or out early can make landing this trick a lot less frustrating when learning it however the principle is much the same. When you have slid far enough and are feeling comfortable to pop out, push down on the nose as if doing a nollie sweeping up and back with your back foot and almost jumping back at the same time to get clear of the curb. (See frame 9) Make sure your weight is centered over your board and you should ride away nicely. Its not the easiest tick to learn but once you have it, it will definitely be a keeper.
