X-Jam
Skate On Saturday 2nd of May we arrived at the Tafelberg Tavern / Speedway Cafe for the 2nd annual X-Jam event presented by OLD SCHOOL PRODUCTIONS…
From the morning early there was a great turn out of Skateboarders and BMXers. And it looked like we had a super day ahead of us.
The Set up was awesome to say the least , looked sick and the riders were all Super Ampted to get unto the course and shread it, The day was officially a Skate comp with a section for the BMXers to do a show/Demo.
By about 14:00 we got the skateboarding underway. We started with the first part of the best trick sessions on the bench. This was a 15 min jam where a lot of tricks went down from K-grinds to kickflip backside tails. Soon after that we moved on to the wedge with the water- barrier. The guys were getting warmed up now and Puddy was busting backside flips and Willy Manilly (aka Will Twala) was busting nollie flips. After that we went straight in to the last jam on the grind box. By this time every one was giving it there all, wth halfcab nose grinds and verial flip 50 50’s going down.
Results: Will Twala -1st
Puddy Zwennis and Kieran Mans that was tied for 2nd.
Thanx to all the sponsors for making this happen , we had an awesome time.
As well as MARKUS MUSELER from OSP-Events for putting on this awesome day again, This guy really does know what he doing when it comes to insane Action Sports events !! We all looking farward to the next event and see what this guy will come up with .
